Meet the Founder
Hello friends! Welcome to our little slice of the internet. My name is Kenzie, and I am the designer behind Kenthouse Collective. I am a corporate girl turned entrepreneur and you may be wondering how someone decides to start a wallpaper company? Well, that I can answer for you with a little bit of background.
In my young adult life, I bought a fixer upper townhouse as my bachelorette pad. This sparked a creative journey that would last much of my twenties. By the time I was selling her, I, my parents, & now husband had redone every single room from floor to ceiling in the house.
Over the course of those handful of years, I learned so much about the impact of paint, furniture, and accenting a room to make it feel bigger, brighter, and cozier. I discovered that I have a modern classic style with a touch of glamour. What girl doesn't love a little sparkle, am I right?
I discovered peel and stick wallpaper when I was renovating my powder room, and from there I was hooked. I added it to every room that I could as I kept renovating. I found that it added such a pop to the space and made those rooms such conversation pieces.
When we moved to our new house, I was on the hunt for the perfect peel and stick wallpaper to transform our home from a total blank slate of all white walls, to the masterpiece I knew it could be. Although I did find some great designs that I did use, I couldn't help but feel that something was missing from the market.
The gap I discovered was there was nothing offered in a peel & stick option that was thick, textured, and bold yet timeless all while being budget friendly. These options did exist in traditional wallpaper, but who really wants the mess of glue and long term design commitment?
Thus, the vision for Kenthouse Collective was born. I hope your life is easier and a little more beautiful because of it.
